Jamaica’s fastest men and women in the 100m, sent clear signals that they will not be denied a place in the final of the events. All top athletes were in fine form, as they claimed their respective places in the finals.
The fastest time of the women’s event was done by the high flying Elaine Thompson, running a blistering 10.85 seconds.
On the men’s side, the fastest time going into the final, was Yohan Bake, at 9.95 seconds.
