PARIS, France – Sprinting star Usain Bolt will be ok in ten days. As L´Équipe informs the World record holder went to Switzerland where medical examinations confirmed that he suffered a slight elongation.
That is the result after the examination with doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt. The meeting took place in Switzerland, because the German practitioner is currently in Evian, near the Franco-Helvetian border with soccer national team.
Jamaican sprinter then headed to Munich to undergo additional examinations and begin its healing process. He should remain there until the end of the week.
The plan to run in London DL remains valid.
He is scheduled to run the 200m at the London Diamond League event, July 22/23, where he will have to prove his fitness to compete in Rio – a condition to his being granted a medical exemption to pull out of the Jamaica Trials at the 100m final stage, thus scratching from the longer sprint.
Bolt will be fine, but he vulnerable to Gatlin’s threat, who let him off the hook last year in the 100. Gatlin had him beaten and lost form to allow Bolt to slide by in 9.79 to 9.80
All the best superstar Bolt… Dem can’t stop you no time
