Powell wins 100m in Atlanta

Asafa Powell won the men’s 100m at the American Track League (ATL) in Atlanta today (4 June).

Powell, the former world 100m record holder, won the event in 10.01 seconds.

Cejhae Greene of Antigua and Barbuda finished second in 10.15 and Emmanuel Matadi of Liberia, third in 10.17.

Jamaicans Michael Frater, 10.29 and Nickel Ashmeade, 10.30, were sixth and seventh respectively.

Cayman Islands’ Kemar Hyman was eighth in 10.35 and Antoine Adams of St. Kitts and Nevis, ninth in 10.46.
