NASSAU, Bahamas – World 400m silver medallist Shaunae Miller will prepare for the 2016 season with her new training group, Pure Athletics, in Clermont Florida.
Lance Brauman is the coach at Pure Athletics
The 21 year old told The Tribune that she will not compete at the World Indoors in 2016.
“Things just didn’t work out with the coaching,” said Miller, who recently won silver in the 400m at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China.
“We had our differences of opinion, so we decided to part," she added.
Miller, who won World Junior gold in 2010 and World Youth title in 2011, is looking forward to her new group.
“I’m really excited about the change,” she said. “I will have a lot of good training partners down there, so I’m really excited about it and I’m really looking forward to some great things.”
