Jak Ali Harvey sets Turkish 100m record

ANKARA, Turkey – Former Jamaican spriner Jaques Harvey, now Jak Ali Harvey, won three titles at the Turkish Turkcell Super League Clubs Final.

Jak Ali Harvey clocked 10.01 in the 100m (-0.2) to beat Ramil Guliyev 10.19.

Harvey was also impressive in the 200m by clocking 20.38 (-1.1m/s) PB to beat specialist Guliyev 20.46.

In the 4x100m, Harvey helped Enka Club to 38.90.

Yavuz Can 45.65 won the men's 400m title.

On the women side, Ivet Lalova-Collio 11.36 (+0.9m/s) and 23.19 (-0.7m/s) took the sprint double while Ukrainian Olha Lyakhova 53.65 and 2:03.90 came out on top in the 400/800m.

Karin Melis Mey leaped to 6.55m (+1.0) in the long jump, Emel Dereli got 17.00m in shot put and Kivilcim Salman 70.20m in hammer.
