KINGSTON, Jamaica – Usain Bolt has voiced his disagreement at the clause in the new WADA code which allows athletes, like Tyson Gay, to get reduced doping sanctions if they provide significant information to the doping authorities, The Times reported.
“It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard,” said the 28 year old Jamaican.
“The message should be: ‘If you cheat, you're going to be kicked out of the sport”
Bolt said that he is not looking forward to meeting Gay this year. “I'm not looking forward to competing against Tyson. “It really bothers me. … I respected him so much over the years.
He was a competitor, kept me on my toes and he pushed me to always do my best.
“Then to find out that he was on drugs. “I feel like he let me down and let the sport down.”
