NASSAU, Bahamas – Demetrius Pinder, a member of the Bahamas gold medal winning 4x400m Olympic Games team, is very disappointed after he was left off the squad for the World Relays, report the Nassau Guardian.
“I'm very disappointed, but I guess there is nothing I could do about it at this point. I am just going to continue to prepare myself for the season ahead,” he said
Athletes had to complete at least one outdoor race to qualify for the Bahamas squad. Pinder recorded a DNF in an 800m race for his only outing so far this year.
