Nervous Bolt wins 400m at GC Foster Classic

Usain Bolt ran his first 400m in two years at at Saturday’s GC Foster Classic on at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Bolt said he was “nervous because it was my first 400m in years”

He, however, said “I just wanted to run and see how fast I could go … I was happy to get a good time.”

Bolt, who ran out of lane four in the men’s 400m, covered his opponents from as early as the backstretch. He straightened with a comfortable lead before racing across the line in 46.37 seconds.

“I am happy to came out here and ended injury free. It was a okay 400m for the first time in two years.”

Edino Steele, Bolt’s training partner at Racers Track Club, finished second.
