MOSCOW, Russia – All-Russian Athletics Federation is not changing plans for Rio medals in 2016. ARAF president Valentin Balakhnichev was quoted by news agency ITAR-TASS.
“If we able to reform our work painless, we’ll deliver the goods to win from 6 to 8 gold medals in Rio. But it is too early to say about that as first of all our federation needs to get the job done, which will allow us to avoid sanctions,“ Balahnichev said.
