BEIJING, China – Kimberly Williams and Shanieka Thomas, Jamaica’s two representatives in the women’s triple jump at the 15th IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China, have advanced to the final.
Williams will enter the final with the fifth longest jump of 14.23 metres while Thomas’ 14.05 was the eighth best.
Williams took all three jumps as her best effort came with the second as the first was a no jump. Thomas also got her best jump on the second of her three attempts.
