Decorated Jamaican sprinter Veronica Campbell-Brown is to release her “INSIDE OUT: Activate The Power Within You” book shortly.
Campbell-Brown, who like the legendary Usain Bolt, won gold medals for Jamaica at all levels globally, told fans “AVAILABLE SOON…stay tune for its release.”
During her teenage years, she won the 100m at the 1999 Bydgoszcz World Youth, then sprint double at the 2000 Santiago World Junior Championships.
At the senior level, the former Vere Technical student, won World Championships 100m in Osaka 2007 and 200m in Daegu 2011, along with Olympic 200m titles in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
She has 22 gold, 17 silver and 4 bronze medals while representing Jamaica, dating back to Carifta Games 1997. Her personal best times are 10.76 (100m) and 21.74 (200m).
Born to Cecil Campbell and Pamela Bailey in Clarks Town, Trelawny, she attended Tory Primary (to be renamed in her honour) and Barton Community College and University of Arkansas.
“I cannot wait to share it with you guys,” promised the sprinter, who in 2007 married Omar Brown, the 2006 Commonwealth Games 200m champion. He too is a Barton and University of Arkansas alumni.
