In his 3rd 200m race of the season, at the Adidas Grand Prix, the 6th stop in the IAAF Diamond League Series, he won in a disappointing 20.29.

He was not a happy man.

“I am not happy, I’m just not happy about my performance today,” he told journalists.

Bolt, who will defend his World Championships sprint double in Beijing this summer, tried to explain the end result.

“I don’t know what happened, I just can't explain, it was really bad, probably it was one of the worse turn I ever run in my entire life,” he said.

“(When) I came off the turn, I knew it wasn’t going to be fast because the turn wasn’t good, so I pretty much just wanted to get home …I didn’t really stress it too much,” he added. Zharnel Hughes of Anguilla finished second in 20.32 and Julian Forte of Jamaica third with 20.46.
