Thompson-Herah shines with sub-11 clocking at Doha Diamond League

Elaine Thompson-Herah, again this season stamped her class, winning her second straight Diamond League 100m race.

Anthonique Strachan of the Bahamas finished fifth in 11.42.

In the men’s 200m, Julian Forte ran a season-best 20.39 for second place behind Arthur Cisse, who topped the field in an Ivory Coast national record of 20.23.

    1. Hannu Savolainen, yes. Made it look effortless. No real competition. She goes into Tokyo prep well ahead of most others. In this international field and last week she was the only one who made the Olympic qualifying standard. 😍👏🏼🇯🇲

    2. Hannu Savolainen, yes. I did say the international competition because both posted excellent times in the local meets. Dina Asher Smith has been improving markedly but chose not to run in the latter part of this year, not even their nationals. It will make for top watching. 😍
