Janeek Brown of Wolmer’s is the fastest qualifier in the Class 2 girls 100m hurdles on day  (24 March) of Champs 2015 on at the National Stadium.

Brown, who was drawn in the toughest heat (1), finished in 13.82 ahead of Edwin Allen’s Patrice Moody 13.89, Holmwood’s Gabrielle McDonald 14.04 and Rushelle Burton of St. Andrew High 14.11

Trishauna Hemmings of Glengoffe also did 13.82, but in heat 4.

St. jago’s Safita Thompson is also in the next round after crossing the line in 13.92.

Meanwhile, in the class 3 girls 80m hurdles, Holmwood’s Shanette Allison 11.41 and Joda Campbell of Hydel 11.54 are the best going into the semis.

Crystal Morrison of St. Jago leads the field in the girls 70m hurdles event with 10.70. Lisandra Brown of Edwin Allen 10.83 and Immaculate’s Riana Battick 10.86 are also in the semis.
