Shiann Salmon is very happy with her 2018 season and is preparing for July’s World U20 Championships.

She won the Class 1 girls’ 400m, 400m hurdles and anchored her team to the 4x400m title. Salmon ran personal best times of 52.05 (400m) and 55.78 (400H) at Champs in March 2018.
The 19-year-old multi-talented has in the past won three high jump Carifta Games titles for Jamaica. Her personal best in this year is 1.82m, which gave her victory at the Carifta Games in Grenada 2016.
