World Athletics has announced the qualification system for the 2024 World Relays, which will take place in Nassau, Bahamas on May 4-5, 2024. A total of 32 teams will be entered in each event, with the top eight teams in each discipline at the World Championships in Budapest automatically qualifying.

The host country can also enter one team in each event. The remaining teams will be determined through the top lists during the qualification period from January 1st, 2023, to April 7th, 2024.

The top 14 teams at the World Relays will automatically qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games, with the remaining two places in each relay discipline awarded based on top lists during the qualification period from December 31st, 2022, to June 30th, 2024.

This qualification system aims to ensure that the best teams from around the world have the opportunity to participate in the World Relays and potentially qualify for the Olympic Games.
