Budapest's bid to host the 2024 Summer Olympics and Paralympics has been officially launched after a letter of intent was submitted to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The letter, addressed to IOC President Thomas Bach and signed by Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) President Zsolt Borkai in conjunction with Budapest Mayor István Tarlós, claims the capital city's bid will be perfectly in accordance with the IOC's Agenda 2020 reform agenda.
