Kingston College’s (KC) star sprinter Jhevaughn Matherson is set to join Glen Mills’ training group for the 2018 track and field season.

It was rumored that Matherson was transferring to rivals Calabar, but his guardian Stewart Jacobs denied this.

According to RJR News, Jacobs said Matherson will complete upper sixth form at KC but will be coached by Racers Track Club head and Usain Bolt coach Glen Mills.

Matherson pulled up at Champs in the Class 1 boys’ 100m semi-finals and was forced to miss the final. He, however, started and jogged across the line in the 200m final for two points.
