KC wins first Penn Relays 4x4 in 57 years

Kingston College (KC), on Saturday’s (30 April) final day of the 126th running of Penn Relays, won their first High School Boys’ 4×400 Championship of America title since 1965. 

The team of Amal Glasgow, Shaemar Uter, Emmanuel Rwotomiya and Marcinho Rose took the North Street-based school home in a fairly fast 3:09.52.

Bullis School of Maryland took second in 3:11.90. Luke Schroeder, Aidan McDuffie, Myles Pendarvis and Oliver Bridges made up the Bullis’ team.

Calabar holds the Penn Relays record of 3:03.79 – Malik James-King (47.6), Anthony Carpenter (45.5), Shemar Chambers (45.82) and Christopher Taylor (44.84).
