The JN Foundation will host the inaugural JN Foundation Heroes 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Falmouth, Trelawny, in collaboration with Running Events Jamaica.
The JN Foundation Heroes Run/Walk will raise funds for the Granville Place of Safety, located at Garrick Foyle in the parish of Trelawny.
Granville Place of Safety caters to children from the 14 parishes across the island and more specifically, to young women between the ages of 8 and 18, who have been abandoned or neglected, and are deemed in need of care and protection.
As such, the home will be the exclusive beneficiary from the funds raised by this event, to assist with the quality of life for these girls, through the proposed establishment of a school building, which will house a media library, sewing room and a general classroom.
