Jamaica College (JC) is the fastest team going into tonight’s (29 Feb) final of the Boys 4x400m Open at Gibson McCook Relays.
JC ran 3:10.69 to win heat five ahead of Excelsior, 3:13.02, the 4th fastest time of the day.
Kingston College (KC), 3:12.49 beat Calabar, 3:13.01 in heat four early round at the National Stadium.
Holmwood, 3rd in heat 5 with 3:13.36, Edwin Allen, 3rd in heat 4 with 3:15.57 are also in the final.
Wolmer’s, winner of heat 6 in 3:16.95 and heat two winner Petersfield, 3:18.78, have also advanced to the championship final.
In the men’s 4x400m, Racers with 3:07.38 leads the qualifiers into tonight’s final.
GC Foster College ran 3:08.75 and Speed Unit, 3:08.92 are the next fastest teams.
Also making the final are Puma MVP International, third in heat two with 3:09.24, Team Express 3:09.30, Sprintec 3:12.03, UWI Mona 3:13.11 and Mico University College 3:14.87.
