The East Coast International Showcase, powered by Puma, is shaping up to bring excitement to the Prince George Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, Maryland this Saturday, May 7.

Kingston College (KC), St. Jago boys and girls, STETHS and Excelsior are already on spot; Hydel with Brianna Lyston and Kerrica Hill will join them in a few days.

Bullis of Maryland, who were second to KC in the 4×400 meters at Penn Relays, are ready to turn the tables. Sanjay Ayre, who is staging the meet with Juliet Campbell, said: “Bullis said they are ready for the rematch with KC in the 4x400m. They are saying this is their home town and are prepared to defend their home turf.

IMG from Florida, Dematha Catholic High from Maryland and Paul Robeson Campus High from New York are some of the top American schools down to take part.

Jordan Anthony of Tyler Town High in Mississippi and Shawnti Jackson from Wakefield High in North Carolina are the top sprinters expected to challenge the Jamaicans.

Campbell, Puma’s Sports Marketing Representative and Partner with 2 Eagle Sports & Entertainment, the organizers for the meet, said things are “looking better than we thought.”

“Everything is in place, the sponsorship and marketing part of it, and I could not have done it without Olympian Sanjay Ayre,” Campbell was quoted by the Gleaner saying.

The 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, sprint hurdles, throwing and jumping are some of the events on the program.
