Hundreds of fans turned out to watch Jamaican athletes train in Tottori Prefecture on Tuesday morning, August 11.

Jerry Holness, one of the coaches with the team, wrote “Spectators and supporters came out from as early as 6:30 am just to watch our athletes train and to get autographs. “

Asafa Powell, one of the world’s most loved athletes, posted “training was more like a track meet this morning.”
“#crowd #fans Worst thing was that my workout wasn't easy ” he wrote.

The Jamaicans are staging a 10-day pre-World Championships training camp in Tottori Prefecture in the Ch?goku region of Japan. 

The city has an estimated population of 192,800, with 78,431 households and a population density of 251.92 persons per km². The total area is 765.31 km².
