Bahamians Laverne Eve, Jackie Edwards and Debbie Ferguson-McKenzie competed in nine World Championships, the most ever by a Caribbean woman.
Eve participated in the javelin in 1987, 1991, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 & 2007 while Edwards contested the long and triple jump events in 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005 & 2007.
Ferguson-McKenzie ran in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2007, 2009, 2011 & 2013.

Kim Collins (SKN) and Danny McFarlane (JAM) have competed as follows: Collins ran in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 & 2011 while McFarlane contested the 400m, 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay in 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 & 2009.
Collins is set to compete in his tenth World Champs as he is entered in the 100m in Beijing.
Chris Brown (BAH) is next with eight (1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 & 2013) and may get his ninth showing in Beijing.
