Double Olympic medalist Emmanuel Callendar and World Championships bronze medal winner Josanne Lucas are among 11 track and field athletes named to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 22nd Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games set to Vera Cruz, Mexico from November 14 to 30.

Callender was a member of T&T’s men’s 4x100m relay team which struck silver at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and bronze at the London Olympic Games four years later. He will be attempting his first individual CAC Games medal. 

Lucas is expected to contest the women’s 100m and 400m hurdles. The 2009 World Championships 400m hurdles bronze medallist was second in the one lap hurdles finals at the 2006 CAC Games in Cartagena, Colombia
