Barbados’ Mario Burke was the fifth fastest qualifier in the Men’s 100m heats, coming from the opening session Day I (Tuesday) of the 2016 IAAF World Under-20 Championships at the Zawisza Stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Burke ran 10.33 to top the final heat of the morning while Jamaica’s Raheem Chambers managed 10.45 to finish third and secured one of the three automatic positions.
