Head Coach Chris Woods and the Mississippi State track and field program have announced the schedule for the 2021 indoor season.

“We’re excited about the upcoming indoor season and the opportunity to wear the Maroon and White again after such a long absence of competition,” said head coach Chris Woods. “This schedule will allow our student-athletes to have a great experience and compete at a high level, all while remaining safe in the unorthodox competition space that we are currently in.”

The 2021 indoor campaign is made up of five regular-season indoor meets, including two at South Carolina and two at Vanderbilt.

The Bulldogs will kick off the season with the Commodore Indoor, hosted by Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 15 and 16. They will then head to South Carolina for the Carolina Challenge on January 23 in Columbia, South Carolina.

State hits the road again for the Razorback Invitational on January 29 and 30 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, followed by Vanderbilt’s Music City Challenge on February 12 and 13. Also on February 13 is the USC Indoor Open from South Carolina.

On February 25 through 27, the Bulldogs look for their share of gold at the SEC Indoor Championships, hosted by Arkansas. The top-16 qualifiers in each event from the Championships will advance to the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, also to be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, this season.

Information regarding the outdoor schedule will come at a later date.
