Demar Gayle and Clayton Brown were winners on Sunday's final day of the 2015 Jamaica Carifta Games Trials held at the National National Stadium in Kingston.

Demar Gayle of Edwin Allen 18.56m beat Sanjay Lawrence of Petersfield 18.02m in Under-20 shot put.

Clayton Brown of JC cleared 2.15m to take the Under-20 boys high jump over Romario Douglas of St. Jago 2.10.

In the Under-18 1500m final, Britnie Dixon of Vere 4:37.54, beat Edwin Allen’s 4:39.94 while in the Under-20 section, Lisa Buchanan of Holmwood 4:34.68 beat Vere’s Sasha-Gaye Whyte 4:37733.

Shevan Parks of Bellefield 4:02.43 topped the Under-20 boys 1500m field ahead Alex Hutton of Calabar 4:02.71. Shemar Salmon Jauavney James, both of STETHS, did 4:03.97 and 4:05.63 respectively for 1-2 in the Under-18 1500m.

Akeem Kerr of Jamaica College (JC) cleared 4.00m for the pole vault.

Trishauna Hemmings of Glengoffe 6.07m was the only jumper over six metres in the Under-20 girls long jump.

Sahjay Stevens of STETHS threw 14.54m to beat Devia Brown of Hydel 14.38m in the Under-18 shot put.
