good win for Rasheem Brown in the us

Rasheem Brown won the men’s 60m hurdles gold medal at the recently held NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The event was held at Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in South Dakota.

Caymanian Brown, a sophomore at Milligan, won his pet event in 7.70 seconds. He beat Brandon Schultz of Brewtown-Parker 7.91 and Chris Grinley of Keiser 7.98.

Dante Brown and Aniekeme Etim, both of William Carey won the double sprint titles.

Dante Brown ran 6.67 to win ahead of Brandon Schultz (7.92) in the 60m dash and 21.19 to beat Anthony Franklin (21.33) in the men’s 200m.

Aniekeme Etim of William Carey was the women’s 60m dash winner in 7.30. She topped the women’s 200m in 23.63.

Camry Bradford of MidAmerica Nazarene took the women’s event in 8.67, just edging out Southeastern U’s freshman Ashley Epps, who was credited with the same time.

Rachel Battershell of Concordia won the women’s 400m in 54.77 and Damarre Martin, the men’s equivalent, in 46.87.
