Briana Williams confident after fast opener on Wednesday’s second day (11 July) of the 16th IAAF World U20 Championships.
The 16-year-old, who was quick out of the blocks, eased across the line in 11.28secs, the fastest time of the heats women’s 100m heats.
Ockera Myrie, the other Jamaican in the women’s 100m, also secured her spot in the semi-final round with 11.70secs.
