Track and field rising star Briana Williams has put an end to her 2020 indoor season. She ran two indoor and one outdoor 60m races between January 11 and February 8.

Williams, who finished third at the Millrose Games on February 8 in New York, said it’s back to full training for the outdoor season.

She ran a personal best 7.18s behind Americans Javianne Oliver, 7.13 and Morolake Akinosun, 7.16.

“Next meet is Mt. SAC (Relays) in April,” she told Trackalerts.com last weekend. Mt. Sac Relays is set for April 16-18.

The World U20 sprint double champion said its time to start preparing for the outdoor season.

“March is my training month, so I am going to get back in training,” she said while adding to “fix my technique” is among the plan.

Williams, who is coached by Trinidad and Tobago’s Olympian Ato Boldon, said preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games “is coming on great” and that “I can’t wait to get back in training.”
