Jamaica’s rising star Briana Williams will face the Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel on Tuesday (10 Sept).
Williams, who tested positive for a banned substance at Jamaica Trials in June, is hoping to be cleared in time for the Doha 2019 World Championships.
The Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel, in a release, said it “will convene a preliminary hearing in the matter of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) versus Briana Williams on Tuesday 10 Sept 2019.”
“The hearing which will be held the Jamaica Pegasus starts at 10:00 a.m.
“It will be held in camera, but Chairman Mr Kent Gammon, is willing to provide a statement following the hearing,” said the release.
