American 100m Olympic relay gold medalist Tori Bowie now has her name to a road sign.

Driver’s going Sandhill on Highway 25 in Rankin County now have a new way of remembering the unincorporated community.

A road sign was revealed and reads: “Welcome to the community of Sandhill, home of Olympic gold medalist Tori Bowie”.

She also won the 100m World title in 2017 in London but missed most of 2018.
