Caribbean stars Usain Bolt and Rihanna are on Forbes latest list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities, bagging the 88th and 77th spots respectively.

Jamaica’s sprint sensation Bolt, who is said to have earned US$34.2 million over the same period, sprinted ahead of such A-listers as Gareth Bale, Britney Spears, Chance The Rapper, and Katy Perry.

Barbadian superstar Rihanna, who reportedly raked in US$36 million between June 1, 2016 and June 1, 2017, tied with Fernando Alonso and Sean Hannity, pipping luminaries like Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Dr Dre, and Florida Georgia Line to the post.

Once again, Sean Combs (P. Diddy and formerly Puff Daddy) has topped the list, having banked $130 million over 12 months.

Despite not releasing music, Diddy managed to increase his overall wealth to $820 million thanks to a North American headline tour last year, and various releases from other artists under Bad Boy Records.

Coming a close second is Beyoncé, who accumulated $105 million over the year thanks to her lucrative ‘Formation’ tour and the release of Lemonade. Her husband, Jay Z, who she is expecting twins with later this year, came in 55th partly thanks to TIDAL.
