The Russian Athletics Federation has been notified today that the IAAF Doping Review Board has decided to revoke the Authorised Neutral Athlete (ANA) status granted to sprinter, Igor Obraztsov.
The decision, following information provided by AIU and following the AIU decision to charge and provisionally suspend the athlete, has been made as a result of Mr Obraztsov’s provisional suspension by the Russian Anti-Doping Agency after failing an out-of-competition doping test conducted on 9 April 2019.
Mr Obraztsov is accordingly not eligible to compete at international competitions in 2019 pending the outcome of his disciplinary case.
