Edwin Allen sprinters Kevona Davis, Tia Clayton and Tina Clayton, shone brightly at the Digicel Grand Prix Final held at GC Foster College on Saturday (16 March).

Davis ran a stunning 22.82 seconds to take victory in the U20 girls’ 200m final. She beat closest rival Ashanti Moore of Hydel, 23.10.

Tina Clayton blazed to victory in the U17 girls’ 200m final in 23.25 to beat St. Jago’s Brianna Lyston, 23.83.

Twin sister Tia was also impressive in the U17 girls’ 100m final, stopping the clock in 11.32s (2.1m/s wind) to beat Hydel’s Alana Reid, 11.59.

Jamaica College’s (JC) Ryeim Robertson, 20.78, topped the U20 boys’ 200m final while his teammate Deondre McIntosh ran 21.59 to take the U17 boys’ event.

Dashinelle Dyer of STETHS won the U20 boys’ 100m final in 10.40 ahead of Calabar’s Michael Stephens, 10.45.
