Jamaica 4x200m teams for DSI Invitational

Jamaica will be represented by two teams at the DSI Invitational/Armory Invitational on January 26, 2019, in New York

Schillonie Calvert-Powell, Verone Chambers, Satima Chambers,
Tovea Jenkins and Titania Markland are selected for the women’s 4x200m.

Oshane Bailey, Jermaine Brown, Kavaugh Rattary, Daniel Jamison and Miguel Allen will make up the men’s 4x200m team.

Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, France and Canada are some of the teams listed to participate.

Jamaica won the men’s event in 2018 while the women, winners in 2017, finished second last year.

Head Coach Dalton Evans, who will be assisted by Mike Williams, Dwayne Evans and manager Louie Grant, is optimistic about the chances of both teams.

“I am expecting both teams to be victorious looking at the performances indoors,” he said.

Dr Warren Blake, president of the JAAA and his general secretary Garth Gayle, along with coach Maurice Wilson, will also travel to the event in New York.
