Hart, Gaither top Bahamas Olympic Trials 100m

Shavez Hart and Tynia Gaither were the 100m winners at Bahamas Olympic Games Trials on Friday (24 June) at the Thomas A Robinson Stadium.

Hart won the men’s 100m final in 10.37 ahead of Adrian Griffiths, 10.38 and Kevin Snead, 10.44

Gaither ran 11.33 to top the women’s 100m final. Sheniqua Ferguson was second in 11.53 and Jenae Ambrose, third in 11.72

Debbie Ferguson-McKenzie was 5th in 11.81

Jeffery Gibson topped the men’s 400m hurdles in 50.24 ahead of Andre Colebrook 51.44 and Desmond Major, third in 54.81.

In the field, Raymond Higgs leapt 7.54m to beat Rudon Bastian, 7.50m and Ubio Maicel, 7.44m

Bianca Stuart, 6.66m, won the women’s long jump pver Andira Ferguson, 5.67m.
