Beckford squeeze into High Jump final

Tokyo, Japan – Jamaica’s Romaine Beckford advanced to the men’s High Jump final after finishing fifth in Group A qualification with a clearance of 2.25m. His compatriot Raymond Richards, the World Indoor bronze medallist, failed to advance after finishing 11th in Group B qualification, knocking down the bar three times at 2.21m.
