British miler Chris O’Hare announced his retirement at the age of 30.

O’Hare wrote on Instagram: “Retiring is never an easy decision for an athlete to make, but I am relieved to say that although I will miss everything about training and racing, I am happy to be a retired athlete.
He continued: “Huge thank you to all those who have supported me throughout my career.”
His main achievements were European indoor silver in Glasgow 2019 (3000m) and two European bronze medals in the 1500m (2014 outdoors in Zurich and 2015 indoors in Praha).
