Karsten Warholm wins 400m at Oktoberstevne meeting

World 400m hurdles champion Karsten Warholm won the men’s 400m at Monday’s (5 Oct) Oktoberstevne meeting.

Warholm ran 45.56 to take the event inside the Bislett Stadium in Oslo, Norway.

At Lincoln Park in Jersey City, Colby Alexander clocked 3:57.86 in the mile and Allie Kieffer, 15:41.41 in the women’s 5000m.

Over in Skopje, North Macedonia, the versatile Luisa Gega of Albania added yet another national record to her portfolio, clocking 2:35:34 to win the Wizz Air Skopje Marathon.
She already holds national records from 800m (2:01.31) to the half-marathon (1:13:11), plus the 3000m steeplechase (9:19.93).

Serhiy Shevchenko clocked 2:22:49 to win the men’s event.
