World 200m champion Dafne Schippers will join the training group of her former coach Bart Bennema.
“I am very happy that I can now go back to my old coach Bart Bennema. I think that’s great,” she said.
“We have to look at how it goes. There are several options for the future, I happily have a strong team,” she said for Ziggo Sport.
Schippers won back-to-back world 200m titles in the 2015 and 2017. She won silver at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 200. She is also the European record in the 200m with a time of 21.63s and is the third-fastest woman of all time at this distance.
