GENT, Belgium – Two-time world 200m champion Dafne Schippers will open her season over 60m at the IFAM Meeting in Ghent on Saturday (10 Feb).
Fellow European 100m champion Churandy Martina competes in the 60m while Belgian favourite Eline Berings competes in the 60m hurdles.
Former world bronze medallist Amel Tuka faces Bahrain’s Abraham Rotich and the Netherlands’ Thijmen Kupers in a good quality men’s 800m while Great Britain’s Adelle Tracey faces Ethiopia’s Kore Tola in the women’s event.
On the in-field, top names in action include Olympic and European high jump silver medallist Mirela Demireva and China’s Xue Changrui in the pole vault.
