Foster-Hylton expecting first child

Brigitte Foster-Hylton, the 2009 World 100m hurdles champion, is expecting her first child.

The 41-year-old, who is married to banker Patrick Hylton, is expected to have her first child next month.

“Congrats ?@iaaf 100mH WorldChamp Brigitte Foster Hylton & her husband as they expect their child 1st child next month,” tweeted MVP Track Club on their twitter page on Thursday, 12 May.

The world-class hurdler won silver at the Paris 2003 World Championships and bronze in Helsinki 2005. She also won gold medals at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia and 2003 Pan American Games in San Domingo 2003.

She retired from the sport in 2012.
