Youngsters produced good marks at Antigua and Barbuda 2nd Development Meet

The 2nd Antigua and Barbuda Athletics Association (A&BAA) meet was a huge success.

Although Day two was blessed with showers, all the events over the two days were completed with positive results.

The athletes are progressing to qualify for the Carifta Games in Grenada.

Among the highlights over the weekend were the National B team’s (U18 boys) 42.70secs run in the 4x100m; the U18 boys 3000m won by Kalique St. John in 9.27:50 and Ramadin Alexander 22.19sec in the U18 boys 200m.

The organizers led by Kwame Galloway, A&BAA meet director; thank sponsors Digicel for making the event possible.
