KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica sprinter Kemar Bailey-Cole is recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered at the London Diamond League, report the Jamaica Gleaner.
The 23 year old suffered the injury during his 9.92 clocking in the second of two 100m races at a cold and wet first day of the Anniversary Games.
Bailey-Cole, however, added: "I have to begin slowly, start strengthening the area and the areas around it so the injury won't occur again, and I am keeping a close eye on it whenever I feel something."
He aggravated the injury at the Jamaican’s pre-world championships training camp in Japan forcing him out of the global event.
