BEIJING, China – Elaine Thompson strolled to an easy victory in the women’s 200 metres heats at the World Championships here inside the Bird Nest Stadium.
Thompson streaked into the lead after 100 metres and then cruise home in 22.78 as Bianca Williams of Great Britain was second in 22.85 and Khamica Bingham of Canada third in 22.90.
