World Junior champion Jaheel Hyde has pulled the plug on his 2015 season.

Hyde, the 2014 World Junior 400m hurdles champion, pulled out of the final of the event at the Jamaica Trials in June with a hamstring injury.

In a release today from his management company, Carfield Coke Management Company, Hyde was advised by his doctor to end his 2015 season.

“After treatment and therapy the prognosis favoured the decision to end the season and refresh for a greater 2016 return,” the release said.

“Subsequently he withdrew from the Pan Am Junior Championship where he was selected to participate in the 400M hurdles event,” added the release.

Hyde wishes to thank the JAAA for selection to the Pan American Jnr Championships, LIME, other sponsors, his coaching staff, well-wishers and all who supported him unwaveringly. Hyde and his management team looks forward to this continued support and an awesome 2016.
