Simmonds, Levy take sprint hurdles at GC Foster Classic

Megan Simmonds won the women’s 100m hurdles at the GC Foster Classic on March 14. Simmonds’ winning time was 13.56 seconds.

Chrisdale McCarthy of UTech and Peta-Gay Williams of St. Jago battled right down to the line for the minor places.

McCarthy prevailed 13.70 to Williams’ 13.71.

Krystal Flemming of Mico had earlier won her heat in 13.82.

In the men’s race, Ronald Levy of UTech took the top spot with 13.87. Ackeem Smith of MVP was second in 14.62.
