Asafa Powell narrowly missed his 91st sub-10 seconds at Saturday night’s Atlanta leg of the American Track League.
Powell, who has so far logged 90 sub-10 seconds in his career, won Saturday night’s race in 10.01 seconds. The wind reading was +0.1m/s.
The sub-10 king man tweeted “final meet before Beijing”
Jason Rodgers of St. Kitts and Nevis 10.23 and Walter Dix of USA 10.25 were second and third respectively.
Trell Kimmons also crossed the line in 10.25.
